School of Social Sciences and Education

“Expanding minds. Engaging hearts. Enhancing communities.”

The School of Social Sciences and Education offers pathways to a variety of professions in sociology, psychology-related fields, criminal justice, law, national/state/local politics, international relations, non-profit organizations, teaching in the community colleges, health and medical professions, and government agencies. We also provide programs designed to prepare students to become skilled professional practitioners in social work, counseling specialties, educational leadership, and teaching, both general education and special education. We partner with students to assist them in reaching their full potential so that graduates will assume leadership roles focused on improving the quality of life of our neighbors in their local, national, and international communities.
